Swan at sunset

Birds

IMG_0424In the midst of a busy week I saw that the evening light was looking good so I took the chance to grab the camera and get outdoors in the hope of spotting hares in the local fields near Chichester Harbour. The hares weren’t showing so I bimbled round to the village of Bosham. The tide was out, leaving the mudflats exposed and as I crossed a bridge towards the village I saw this swan almost silhouetted in one of the channels. Once again, I was reminded of the importance of enjoying those unexpected opportunities and moments of beauty. A brief and sweet moment of tranquility. Technical details: Camera: Canon EOS 6D Lens: 200mm f2.8L with 2x extender  Exposure: 1/750 sec, f9.5 ISO 3200
